Hey everyone.  This summer has been really great for us musically as we’ve been fine tuning our sound and making the music we feel we’ve been wanting to make for a long time.  We’re all really excited for our new music to be ready for you all to listen.

Right now we’re in the middle of recording and hope to have at least one new track available on the site in the next couple weeks.  Once we all start back with school, the full band recording will stop for a while, but I’m hopeful we can still release some more music in the coming months regardless.  We won’t be playing any shows any time soon, but we’ll keep you posted on that.

We’ll let you all know soon when the new song is finished and up for download.

hey everyone,

we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Years. On to 2010! (3 months late)

..well,a couple of things to update you with. for one, we finally got to work with John Heberle on his film ” re: ” — the music we made for it should show up soon.

currently, we’re working on music in a sort of long-distance fashion…piece by piece..idea-building. look for more updates as the summer approaches. thanks for your time,

john

Hey everyone,

We just released two new songs on the site in the discography section.  We’re really happy with them and the new sound they have.  You can download them for free in either MP3 or Apple Lossless format (MP3 is standard and Apple Lossless is less compressed and more true to the actual music).  Check them out and feel free to spread them around to your friends.  We had a great time writing and recording these two new tracks, so we hope you all have fun listening to them.  Enjoy.

Royal Waves

once again, thank you to everyone who attended a Royal Waves show this summer — your interest and listening ears mean heaps more than you may think. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we have grown a lot as a band this summer, through playing out but also in the practice room. We have tried new things, some have stuck and others have been put aside for now; theres no telling where our newfound approach to writing music will take us next.

with that being said, there is much to anticipate….the end of this summer found us only getting started with new material, and we hope to embellish as much of it as we can in hopes of putting out our first full-length album. We can’t say when this would occur, but in an excited/impatient state of releasing new music to people, we all hope to have something available soon. nothing will be rushed, however (we also won’t dissapear for the next nine months)

..thats all for now, and thus the summer of 2009; we hope you all kept safe and enjoyed the outdoors a bit.

thanks to everyone who has come out to support us thus far. We are looking forward to adding some elements and ideas to our next shows. If you havent been able to attend a show yet, please come check us out. Thanks again,

rw

we’ve finally got around to it – getting shows together for the summer of ’09. We’ll be teaming up with another instrumental band Monolith at Tycho, as well as an experimental group called Nights.

there is definitley much excitement for all of this, as we are hoping to create a good production and atmosphere for these shows. No guarantees yet, but according to Monolith at Tycho’s guitarist, “we’re about to play in total darkness with xmas lights that flicker according to how the music is being played.”  …Pretty kickin’.

we may have more up our sleeves, so keep checking on us.

Miltner ended up on the news yesterday. Since he’s apparently an older gent

also we’re on Youtube now, in pretty bad quality.

..currently working on stuff for Mr. H’s film, and working with the Phantasy in Lakewood, in hopes of getting something going there.

we’re just getting our heads around to playing some shows this summer, so you’ll want to check our MySpace soon for some dates. We look forward to getting out and playing around. We will also have some merchandise with us as well.

over the past few months, we have all discussed venturing down a musical path that may involve creating music for films, and other productions. with that being said, we have been given the opportunity to compose a score for a short film by a college film student named John Heberle. Check out a short commercial he made — you might recognize someone?
